Florida Dual-Capacity Disclosure

In the State of Florida, individuals who are properly licensed may act in a dual capacity as both a real estate licensee and a mortgage loan originator (MLO), subject to full compliance with state and federal law. Any individual acting in a dual role must:

1. Hold an active and valid Florida MLO license

2. Provide all required written disclosures to consumers

3. Clearly disclose when they are acting as a Realtor versus a loan originator
